Reader's P.O.V
''Hey [y/n] I'll take you to your room'' Lenalee smiles at you while standing at the door when Reever stands up ''I'll take her!'' you look over to Reever ''oh...are you sure I mean you have work to do'' he smiles at you and walks over to the hall way ''its fine I have to go this way anyway to get some supplies''. You walk down the hall with Reever beside you as he talks you to your room Komui had prepared for you ''its really good having you back [y/n] I miss-I mean we all missed you'' you smile up at him ''I missed everyone here too''. You both carry on walking in a awkward silence when ''so how was life being a normal human like for ya?'' your head shoots up eyes wide as the flash backs come back ''ermm...I-it was good''. Reever looks at you funny but just shakes it off he stops in front of a door ''well here you are'' he opens the door for you and you walk inside to see that the walls are black and navy with a big skull on the main wall ''hehe I love it!''. You hug Reever ''tell Komui thanks'' he smiles and hugs you back ''will do now I have to get back to do work'. ''Wait I thought you said you had to get supplies?'' you tilt your head to the side in confusion ''oh yea haha thanks for reminding me anyway I gotta go'' before you could say anything he was gone in a flash ''ok then...I see he is still wired as ever''.
--Dinner time--
You head down to the cafeteria when Komui runs up to you ''right everyone is in there and I want to surprise them'' you look up at him ''ermm I think we already did'' you point tot he cafeteria door where everyone has their heads poked around the corner. ''Hi everyone...'' you feel wired everyone looking at you some of them recognized you and smiled ''hey [y/n] nice to have you back''. Just as they said this you hear banging and a boy voice is heard ''get off of me you old panda! ow! that's it pull my ear off!'' you giggle to yourself and walk over to see Bookman telling Lavi off he has his back to you but god he has changed. Bookman sees you and smiles warmly ''hello dear you are looking well'' you smile back as Lavi turns his head face confused as he sees you a big grin appears on his face. ''Hello beautiful'' you smile back and see the eyes patch ''hey player...what happened'' he looked a little confused but smile ''oh its nothing just an accident'' then running from Bookman to hide behind you ''w-what don't hide behind me!'' ''he like you! tell the old panda to calm down''. You look up to see Bookman is no where to be seen when all of a sudden you hear Lavi ''ow!!!!'' you look at him and see his rubbing his head and Bookman holding a pan 'hahahha!'' you try not to laugh but you could hold it in and everyone looks at you with a smile.

Lavi's P.O.V
''Oh my god she looks even prettier grown up'' he thinks this as he looks over to [y/n] laughing while hearing Panda's voice nagging at him ''you need to stop being so disrespectful! first you don't do your work then you hide behind [y/n] she has only been back not even a day and you are already being a chicken what kind of exorcist are you?!''. He turns around to panda ''listen panda I haven't seen her in three years can I just have a little time to catch up with her'' panda just looks at you thinking ''no..you can do that once you have done the work'' he walks off before Lavi could say anything ''hey guys I have to go...[y/n] see you around?''. [y/n] turns to Lavi
and smiles ''god she looks beautiful when she smiles''. She answers ''yea defo haha maybe ill swing by one time'' he couldn't help but smile and nod his head. He walks out of the cafeteria to see Kanda leaning against the wall ''aren't you going to say hi to [y/n[?'' the miserable get just looks up at Lavi ''no need I saw her in the office'' that pisses him off hearing that ''you two use to be so close'' he snaps at Kanda which pisses him off ''shut your mouth that was along time ago''. He stands straight and walks away leaving Lavi standing there Bookman appears ''hurry up boy!'' Lavi looks up ''coming! god I thought you would be slower in your old age. Ow!'' Panda hits him yet again on the head with the pan ''you brought that!'' bookman looks at the pan with a smile ''well it does a good job'' ''errrr panda ...OW...will you cut it out with that thing!!''.
--a week has pasted since you have come back--
Reader's P.O.V
You sigh a little sitting in a tree while the cold breeze hits your skin your [h/c] hair swishing a little in its ponytail ''I missed this'' you say to yourself as you take out your reading book. 'Hmm where was I?...ah here it is'' you start to read when the book is suddenly snatched out of your hands. ''Hey!'' you look up to see Kanda out of all people it had to be him ''what do you want?'' you hiss at him the inter time you have been here he not said one word to you or looked at you no matter how hard you tried. ''That's not nice'' he says looking at the book ''well look who's talking'' you say this in a low voice before he shoots you a dirty look you shoot one back at him ''well Komui has a mission and we are paired up on it''. You shake your head ''no can do'' he snaps at you ''why not?'' ''because unlike you I have things to do now give me back my book!'' you go to grab the book out of his hand but he moves it out of your reach ''childish brat'' you say this while you jump down from the branch and smile. ''What did you call me!? and why are you smiling?'' he looks at you and you walk on ''well...'' the branch breaks making Kanda fall but he lands on his feet ''damn...'' you say disappointed he looks at you with anger ''what was that for?!'' you just walk on heading to Komui's office.

You walk into Komui's office with Kanda hot on your heels ''I am not going on a mission with this guy'' you put your hands on the desk as Komui just looks at you ''aw don't be like that its a big mission''. ''I don't care send Lavi with him or Allen'' Kanda hisses ''ill go by myself'' Komui looks over to him ''no you wont [y/n] is going with you and that's the end of it''. You and Kanda sigh and you start walking ''fine! but I want my bunny cup back in my room by the time I come home'' Komui looks up ''awww no please'' you smile ''nope back in my rom or...you'll regret it'' with this Komui pouts and Kanda hides a smile and walks behind you. You have set off on the mission and head to the little village where hundreds of Akuma have been spotted none of you have said one word until you broke the silence ''can I ask you something?'' kanda just mumbles ''why have you been avoiding me?'' yet again he doesn't say anything ''did you hear me?''. You look up at him ''yes I heard you and I don't know what you are on about now shut it with the stupid questions''. You bow your head down and walk on hands in fists ''hey don't walk off!'' he shouts to you and you hiss ''fuck you!'' he growls at you but doesn't say anything else.
